I think this sign is for people like me. I was going up the escalator with my bulky backpack on, with my phone in one hand, and my other hand securing my camera bag. I happened to lean against the side of the escalator, which wasn't moving up like everything else, and so it tried to pull me in the opposite direction. I quickly lost my balance, nearly knocking over the local girl behind me, and potentially causing a domino collapse through the busy subway station...
