I made it it to Hong Kong fine. The first time my feet stood on ground outside of Australia (except for a trip to New Zealand when I was very young...). There were not as many people as I expected, but then, I guess it was about 10pm at night!
There is short train ride after getting off the plane, to go get our luggage and leave the airport...
